In force 2025-08-07, fully replacing 152/2020 and 70/2023: expert experience cut from 3 years to 2 (1 year in priority sectors); permit exemptions widened from 9 to 15 categories; labour-demand approval and permit application merged into a single filing; provincial review cut from 15 to 10 working days; the short-term threshold moves from 30 days per visit to 90 working days cumulative per calendar year with 3 working days notice.
