Contract templates
Vietnam Labour Contract Template
A trilingual labour contract template completed with the cap on fixed-term renewals, the four statutory limits on temporary transfer, the three annual-leave tiers and the notice periods for termination — the clauses most often missing from circulating templates and most often breached.
OpenVietnam Probationary Employment Contract Template
The two most common breaches in probationary hiring are over-long probation and under-paying it. This template writes the Article 25 day caps and the Article 26 85% floor into the clauses, and adds the two employer duties under Article 27.
OpenVietnam Service Contract Template
A Civil Code–based service contract completed with an acceptance clause, the statutory 8% cap on penalties, VAT rates and the e-invoicing points — and with the source’s heading, which read “People’s Republic of China”, corrected.
OpenVietnam House Lease Agreement Template
Completed with inspection of title documents, a handover record with meter readings, the temporary-residence declaration duty for foreign tenants, and the notarisation and tax position — four things absent from the source and precisely where lease disputes concentrate.
OpenVietnam Business Cooperation Contract (BCC) Template
The source made no mention of the Investment Registration Certificate, yet a foreign investor entering a BCC must obtain one first. This template puts that up front, and corrects a penalty clause exceeding the statutory cap and an out-of-date authority name.
OpenVietnam Goods Sale and Purchase Contract Template
The source cited the superseded 2005 Civil Code, headed its price table in a unit a thousand times out from the column label, contradicted itself on delivery and carriage, and skipped an article number. All corrected here, with passing of risk and complaint periods added.

Procedure guides
Vietnam Tax Procedures and Post-Incorporation Guide
Three major 2026 changes: the business licence fee abolished, two new CIT bands of 15% and 17%, and the household revenue threshold raised to VND 500 million. This guide supplies the actual rates and statutory filing deadlines, and corrects the source’s 20-day figure for quarterly filing.
OpenVietnam Recruitment, Social Insurance and PIT Withholding Guide
Covers fourteen recruitment platforms and their posting rules, the three-step social insurance procedure, and PIT withholding. Two updates change the numbers directly: the social insurance reference level rose on 1 July 2026, and the progressive PIT table was cut from seven bands to five.
OpenSetting Up a Company in Vietnam — The Full Procedure
The full path from choosing a company form, through the registration certificate, to the post-incorporation steps. Domestic and foreign investors follow different routes with a fivefold difference in statutory period; this guide separates statutory periods from real-world timings, and statutory fees from agency service fees.

Vietnamese vs. Chinese Shareholders Establishing a Business in Vietnam
A line-by-line comparison of establishment procedure, capital contribution, sectoral access and documentation for the two investor types. This edition separates statutory periods from indicative real-world timings, which the source mixed together.
OpenLaw Firms and Accounting Practices in Vietnam Serving Chinese-Speaking Clients
Nineteen verified law and accounting practices, listed with their official websites rather than addresses and phone numbers. Four of the source’s twenty-three could not be verified and were removed, and three names or locations did not match the verification result. This is not a recommendation list.
OpenVietnam's 2026 Tax and Employment Changes — What Actually Changed
Across 2025–2026 Vietnam amended its corporate and personal income tax laws, VAT rates, the household revenue threshold, the social insurance base and minimum wages — and abolished a levy of nearly sixty years’ standing. The changes sit in more than a dozen instruments with different effective dates; this note puts them on one timeline.
